Witney Carson was destined to be a boy mom and she’s embraced the reality that baby No. 3 will be another son.
“‘I’m so sorry you didn’t get your girl…’” Carson, 32, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, September 22, seemingly pointing to some people’s reaction to her third baby being a boy after welcoming sons, Leo and Jet, in 2021 and 2023, respectively.
The Dancing With the Stars pro, however, revealed she doesn’t care about “getting her girl.”
“There is truly no disappointment here,” Carson explained. “I get to be the mama of THREE beautiful boys and I couldn’t feel more grateful, blessed, or excited. 🩵.”
The professional dancer added, “God knew exactly what our family needed, and I can’t wait to meet the sweet little boy who completes us. 🥹.”
Carson announced on August 17 that she and husband Carson McAllister are expecting their third baby as she prepared to kick off season 35 of DWTS following a win with Robert Irwin during the previous season.
“I would be lying if I said it wasn’t very daunting. I’ve never been this far along pregnant and competing on Dancing With the Stars, ever,” Carson, who has been married since 2016, confessed on Good Morning America. “I don’t know if it’s ever been done.”
The TV personality, who is paired with Guillermo Rodriguez this season, noted that she is hoping she is able to rise to the challenge.
“I’m so proud to be a woman, to be creating life and growing this human, and to be able to do the show and compete … is such a huge blessing,” Carson added.
On Monday, September 21, Carson and McAllister, 33, shared an Instagram video, revealing the sex of their third baby.
“Baby McAllister number 3 is a…” they teased in a joint post, as Carson and McAllister stood on the edge of a dock with their backs turned to their boys.
Leo, 5, and Jet, 3, then opened an envelope that was sitting in a basket with blue and pink flowers, which confirmed that they were going to have a little brother soon.
When Carson turned around, Leo handed her and McAllister the blue bouquet while Jet grabbed the pink flowers to give his mom. Carson, however, noted in the caption that they are in fact expecting another boy.
“We couldn’t be happier or feel more blessed with all these boys,” she wrote. “I love being a boy mom. My greatest honor in life is to raise them.”
