As Witney Carson prepares to welcome her third baby, she’s sharing her secrets to a quicker postpartum recovery.

“Weight/pilaties help you recover faster after birth so we are getting it in,” Carson, 32, wrote via her Instagram Story on Sunday, October 4, alongside a sweaty face emoji.

The Dancing With the Stars pro showed off some of her go-to Pilates and weight-lifting moves while in the gym. She wore a navy, tank-top style sports bra, black bellbottom leggings and white sneakers as she sweated it out.

“I did one of our Mama Strong classes,” Carson told her followers describing her Finesse By Witney program routine. “You work out with me, I take you through step by step each move. We do it to music. It’s really fun.”

Carson explained that the Mama Strong class is “one of my favorite workouts” from her app, adding that she did a “full body Pilates” routine that day.

Her fitness tips come from personal experience, having given birth to sons Leo and Jet in 2021 and 2023, respectively.

Carson announced in August that she and husband Carson McAllister are expecting their third baby.

Unlike her first two pregnancies, Carson is competing on season 35 of DWTS with partner Guillermo Rodriguez while expecting.

“I would be lying if I said it wasn’t very daunting. I’ve never been this far along pregnant and competing on Dancing With the Stars, ever,” Carson confessed on Good Morning America following her pregnancy reveal. “I don’t know if it’s ever been done.”

While Carson is in uncharted waters, she said she’s “so proud to be a woman, to be creating life and growing this human, and to be able to do the show and compete … is such a huge blessing.”

Carson and McAllister, 33, who’ve been married since 2016, announced last month that they are expecting another baby boy — which the dancer is thrilled about.

“‘I’m so sorry you didn’t get your girl…’” Carson wrote via Instagram on September 22, seemingly referring to some people’s reaction to her third child being a boy. “There is truly no disappointment here.”

The Utah native gushed, “I get to be the mama of THREE beautiful boys and I couldn’t feel more grateful, blessed, or excited. 🩵.”

Being a boy mom is something Carson can’t get enough of — in fact, it’s being apart from her boys that causes her the most stress these days.

“It does get harder and harder, and, you know, obviously, being a mom comes first to me,” she exclusively told Us on September 29 while talking about living in California for the show while her husband and sons are back home in Florida. “All the hormones rushing through me also, I think, made it a little bit more intense.”

Carson revealed that her dance partner, Rodriguez, 55, has made it easier to be apart from her loved ones.

“Honestly, I love what I do, and I am so grateful that I have a partner who is genuinely kind, who never gives up, and he’s just willing to learn,” she shared. “He’s willing to put in the work, so it’s all worth it in the end. I’m just happy to be here.”

Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
