Two medals, two babies!
Olympian Kerri Strug and her husband Robert Fischer have welcomed their second child. The couple's baby girl Alayna Madaleine arrived on Thursday, June 26.
The official Twitter page for USA Gymnastics congratulated the athlete on her newborn Thursday, July 10. "Congrats to @kerristrug96 and her family on their new addition!" Strug replied: "Thanks! We're all healthy&happy!"
Alayna Madaleine now joins big brother Tyler William. The couple—married since 2010—welcomed their baby boy in June 2012.
Strug, 36, became a household name while competing at the Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996. The 4-foot-8 gymnast was famously carried off the mat by coach Bela Karolyi when she tore two ligaments during a vault routine.
