Maksim Chmerkovskiy has dropped some serious cash on a woman.

The Dancing With the Stars pro dancer, 29, spent $2,000 on his mom Larisa at Nanette Lepore, according to a sales associate at the boutique on chic Robertson Blvd. in L.A.
The store was able to fit his mother -- a size 12 -- with a lot of clothing, the associate told Usmagazine.com exclusively.

"He was very cute with his mother and you could tell they were having a good time," the source says.
Chmerkovskiy's mom might not have gotten the star treatment if he was still courting his ex-fiancee, fellow DWTS pro Karina Smirnoff. In September, the couple called off their eight-month engagement, and he confided to Us that he had trouble moving on.

"I need to get the pieces back together," he told Us in October. "When you come out of a relationship that you wanted for the rest of your life, there is not much that you can be happy about."

Maks is such a nice person. Wish DWTS would portray him that way. How nice he takes his Mom shopping while she is visiting. He has said he loves to give gifts to people so I am sure his Mom receives many gifts from him. Sweet.
Is there a reason we needed to know his mom is a size 12? Good for him for spoiling his mom. This world is so size crazed.

Okay $2,000 buys you 2 pieces at Nanette Lepore - don't get the spree aspect of this story. Surely Maks can afford a bit more, if not - go to Macys - its just down the street.
$2,000???....That's it? I hope he is spending more on her with other things besides clothes. He might not be a millionaire but I'm sure he has a comfortable life. Sounds cheap to me. I can see him spending that amount on a girlfriend or wife..but this is his MOTHER!
