Dem babies are growing up fast!

2011 was indeed a big year for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, who welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe, now 8 months, in April after a lengthy struggle to conceive.

Now, as the year draws to a close, the couple is highlighting their kids' first year with a series of new holiday-themed photos, posted on their family's photo album website, DemBabies.com.

In one snapshot, captioned "Monroe & Moroccan's First Christmas," Carey, 41, and her daughter pose with Santa Claus, while Moroccan (nicknamed "Roc") is all smiles in a pumpkin outfit.

"My family gives me everything," Cannon, 31, told Barbara Walters in an interview earlier this year. "Unconditional love means...the world to me. I mean, it's completion."

"It's just love," added Carey. "It's a beautiful place to be."

Melody Denise Jackson I really appreciate mariah and Nick..they are so loyal and down to earth for the fans. Unlike some celebs who act like secret espionage and act like their all that with their kids Nick and mariah show they are real people and invite their fans into their real life and that is really appreciated.

um it's a family christmas card so obviously she's gonna be in the picture. the twins weren't her first pregnancy she miscarried at christmas 2008 and by the way the twins were born 5 weeks early because of life threatening complications so thank god everyone is healthy and happy now @Diane they named him after the Room in their tribeca penthouse aparment where Nick proposed to marry her on 19 march 2008 not that it matters as long as they're healthy

Tanya Wynn--when I read your post, I immediately thought of the twins as a pair of maracas--thin handle, big maraca ball (head). Maybe that's what Mariah was really thinking of when she named her son Moroccan! A maraca! LOL
