Rolling on the river!

Pregnant Kate Hudson was kayaking down a river in Paraty, Brazil on Tuesday afternoon.

The 31-year-old actress has been accompanying boyfriend Matt Bellamy as his band Muse tours through South America with U2. The couple is expecting their first child together this summer. (Hudson already has one son, Ryder, 7, with ex-hubby Chris Robinson.)

As Hudson paddled her red canoe solo through the water, she paired her growing baby bump with a striped string bikini and oversized sunglasses.

Like many moms, Hudson kept her pregnancy top-secret during her first trimester. "My friends all thought I was depressed because I wouldn't leave the house. But I didn't want anyone to know for a long time. I was just hoping that all of a sudden I could show up somewhere with a big belly," she told British paper The Telegraph in late January.

She admitted that her life has gotten a lot more chaotic with baby on the brain. "I babble a lot. I forget words. And how to put sentences together," Hudson laughed. "I just give up."

I had 4 Natural child births... The way I look at it,is, you want to have babies, you sacrifice 40 weeks of a baby growing inside of you, your body gets so out of shape, the do's and don'ts,certain fods you have to eat and cannot eat while pregnant, no drinking cocktails for a long while... especially if you decide to breastfeed! you feel him growing, stretching you out, the pressure of him getting into position, I ask,why would you want to pass up the most important feelings of giving birth to that baby you have been carrying for 9 months? That "IS" childbirth! I do not believe in being numb and not feeling the exciting pain that instantly goes away when you hear that little guy cry saying, I'm out ma!!

I think pregnant women are beautiful, but to just '"let it all hang out" all the time is a little ridiculous. I remember when she was pg with the last one, she did the hippie, so free and pregnant thing too. There were so many photos of her huge stretched out tummy everywhere. There is nothing wrong with covering up a little when you start to get HUGE.

She's on the river you idiots! What's she supposed to wear for swimming? Give me a break. You puritans need to wall yourselves up in a hate colony and leave normal people alone.

I doubt anyone meant she should sit home and knit socks, but walking around 80% doesn't do it either. No different then walking around in public with her underwear on. Ever hear of class. She looks a mess, from head to toe.

You people are ridiculous. What is so "disgusting" and "pathetic" about a pregnant woman? So according to Kasey and Dyanne, Kate is supposed to just sit around the house knitting socks for the next few months? Would that be more acceptable to you? And Kasey, it does not look like Kate is living in a nudist colony, it looks to ME as though she is paddling down a river in the proper attire for doing so. Grow up, girls.

We live in a civilized society, walking around almost naked, especially at this stage of pregnancy is pathetic. We do not live in a nudist colony (although sometimes it looks that way. Some things should remain private, and not for the general public. Please..full of pride..nothing..she is always half naked.

This is a happy, expecting yung woman, and full of pride about a new life she has nothing to hide and she celebrates life. Good for her and a good example that there is nothing to be ashamed about a female body, wheter it is the luck of pregnancy nor some extra pounds...it is what it is, as long as you feel good about it. Shame on the narrow minded, the hypocrits and the haters, what poor creatures you really are.

    No pride..she looks disgusting.
