It was father-and-daughters bonding time for Teen Mom 2's Corey Simms on Friday.

The certified water-distribution operator was photographed having an emotional reunion with Aleeah, his 16-month-old daughter with estranged wife Leah Messer, who filed for divorce last week.

Indeed, a source close to Simms tells Us Weekly exclusively that the MTV dad is spending the weekend with Aleeah and her twin sister Aliannah. The adorable little girls were "giggling and happy" to be with their father after three weeks apart, says the insider. "They were playing around on the floor with their daddy!"

As Simms stays behind in the Clay, West Virginia trailer he once shared with the twins and his wife, Messer has already moved with the girls to her mother Dawn's house in Elkview. The couple wed just six months ago.

(The source explains that Simms and Messer, 19, brokered his weekend time with the girls through their lawyers.)

A Simms pal tells Us that "he's heartbroken" by the turn of events. Adds a Leah confidante: "She feels awful and really wanted the marriage to work."

"They are not in a good place right now," another pal says. "But her friends are hoping they find a way to make it work."

Lots of teens thinks marriage is happily ever after but it takes lots of hard work and compromise. Especially when children are in the mix already.

So she believes other people not her husband? Is he not allowed to have female FRIENDS just bc he is married? So he talked with females at Walmart and DQ.. BIG DEAL IT WAS JUST TALKING!!! It isn't like he screwed them or made out with them! She seems like a JEALOUS CONTROL FREAK that does NOT want her husband to have friends!! Gosh my hubby and I have been married 10 yrs, together 11 and if I filed for divorce every time he talked to a female friend we would have never made it past 2 months! Men CAN be friends ( AND ONLY FRIENDS) with the opposite sex just like us women can! Why the double standard? Just bc people want to say he was messing around don't mean she has to believe it! People make up lies EVERYDAY about other people!! She SHOULD have talked with him about it and got the TRUTH before filing for divorce. Divorcing him for just talking to another female is IGNORANT!

well what did everybody think was going to happen????? pregnant after 1 month of seeing each other and married after 3 months of being back together? it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this marriage was bound to fail

I understand her moving out but I think they need to do some marriage counseling before calling quits! My husband and I just got to a good place after a year and a half all because he wanted to keep his "MAN HOOD" and didn't understand the married life... I had to deal with him talking to other girls and he is military from Kentucky! It took him awhile to actually understand everything. Also I'm pretty sure his friends don't help with always wanting to " hang out" and thinking that she is controlling by needing him to stay home. I might be wrong but this is what I had to deal with and it's workable if there's stll love

I really don't think they were ready to get married! I think she still had feelings for her ex. Someone said something about her partyness, I like she was too much for herself. Plus ever since they met they moved very fast! I hope for the best but we all know that the best is for the baby and I dont think that leah should have them I think cory should have them. I seen that something about he brought a truckk with the money that they had saved but who the one that gave up a truck so that baby seats would fit. I have another thing how the hell can she have a NICE car and he cant even have a truckk. She should be driving something USED! not new! The money that they put into the car should of been put into ali account!!!!!!! She not any better then cory!

I wouldn't call his flirting at Dairy Queen and rendezvous-ing at Wal-Mart "cheating." But if he is "just" connecting with fans, then they should be meeting fans as a family. Frankly I thought Leah would be the one to have a harder time taming her wild streak. But she's really grown up and I guess he hasn't kept up. Oh well. Team Leah!

  • April 22, 2011 - 5:07pm Jenny McCarthy

So, Crystal, you think it's okay that he met up with another female? How silly do you sound? Are you married? Do you think you'd be okay with it if your husband was corresponding with some random person on Facebook and then had the balls to meet up with her at your local Walmart for the whole world to see? No, I don't think you would. Not only would you be devastated, but you'd be humiliated!

I like how they met at a local Wal-mart now that is considered cheating? What did they do take a roll in the gun section? Come on Leah! How silly does that sound?!?
