Shiri Appleby's baby girl has a name! The actress, engaged to chef Jon Shook since last July, has decided to call her little bundle of joy Natalie Bouader Shook. (Bouader is her mother Dina's maiden name.)
As Us Weekly revealed exclusively earlier this week, the Girls guest star — who played a character named Natalia during her recent stint on the HBO series — welcomed a daughter on Saturday, March 23, in L.A. Born at 5 p.m. sharp, baby Natalie weighed in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 20.5 inches.
"She's heaven," Appleby, 34, told Us of her little girl. "I'm beyond thrilled."
The Roswell alum and her fiance announced they were expecting in December but said they were waiting to find out the child's gender until Appleby gave birth. They spent the next few months decorating the nursery (in monochromatic colors) and just enjoying all the ups and downs of pregnancy.
Earlier this year, the mom-to-be told Us that the experience had brought her and Shook, an owner of L.A. eatery Animal, closer together. "When you see this guy going to all the doctor's appointments with you, and you tell him you're feeling a certain way, and two minutes later he's looked it up on the internet to tell you that it's normal, you realize that you're really starting a family with somebody," Appleby gushed to Us. "There's no way to look at that person and not be more in love."
