Stacy Keibler Gives Birth, Welcomes Baby Girl Ava Grace With Jared Pobre
She's here! Stacy Keibler has given birth to her first child, the star revealed on her website Friday, Aug. 22. The Supermarket Superstar host and her husband Jared Pobre welcomed their daughter, Ava Grace Pobre, at home on Wednesday, Aug. 20.
"Jared and I have been blessed with the new love of our lives," Keibler, 34, wrote. "Ava Grace Pobre was born at home on Wednesday, August 20th. We’ve never experienced a level of joy and happiness like this before! Thank you so much for all of the special wishes and positive energy."
Keibler announced in March that she and her husband were expecting their first child. The news came just a few weeks after they secretly tied the knot during a Mexican vacation with close family and friends. She and mogul Pobre, 39, began dating last September. (She and George Clooney famously split in July 2013 after two years of dating.)
"Look what we've got cooking!" Keibler tweeted at the time, alongside a picture of a bun in an oven. "A Bun'dle of love!" Us broke news in April they were expecting a baby girl.
Ahead of her daughter's arrival, Keibler was the guest of honor at a baby shower at her Beverly Hills home on June 7. Some of the details included hors d'oeuvre platters with "It's A Girl" written on them and large rubber duckies floating around her pool. "So much #love!" Keibler wrote via Instagram. "Thank u to all my beautiful friends and family for celebrating our little angels arrival!"
Keibler wasn't sure about starting a family — that is, until her friendship with the tech entrepreneur turned romantic.
"Before we met, both Jared and I had told our parents we didn't think we'd ever get married or have kids. But when you're with the right person, everything changes," Kiebler told Fit Pregnancy magazine in the June/July 2014 issue.
"My epiphany happened shortly after Jared and I started dating, and once we both knew, we didn't hesitate," she continued. "I just knew I was ready and that there's no one else in the world I would want to do this with."
