Usher -- who recently filed for divorce from wife Tameka Foster -- admits his life isn't easy these days.
Asked if he is in a good place right now, Usher tells Entertainment Tonight, "I'd hate for [people] to assume that. If there's any turmoil, I think it's managing all of it, but having an incredible team that helps me do that it makes it very easy, or easier than it would normally be attempting to do it myself."

As for being dad to 18-month-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond, Usher (who is seeking joint custody of the children) says: "What I do is, I try to get [my work] done and get home on the weekends if possible ... but when I'm with my boys it's just all about them."

The new issue of Us Weekly reports that his two-year marriage to Foster was shaky from the start. "She was alienating and controlling, and he was unhappy," a source tells Us.
According to the divorce petition, Usher and Foster have lived separately since July and there is "no reasonable hope of reconciliation."

Foster, who is contesting the divorce, has yet to respond to the petition. Through her divorce attorney, she said she has been a "faithful wife and loving mother" during their marriage. The couple is due in court on July 15.
