Hope the Camdens said grace! The 7th Heaven cast reunited for the first time in years over dinner on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
“1st time in 8 yrs Joy, laughs! Dave,Preg @beverleymitchel,me, @JessicaBiel,@realBarryWatson, Cath. No @mack_smack,” Stephen Collins tweeted.
Collins played Rev. Eric Camden on the WB series that dealt with the drama of raising seven children from adolescence to adulthood. He was joined on Tuesday by his TV wife Catherine Hicks (Annie Camden) and his TV children Jessica Biel (Mary Camden), Beverley Mitchell (Lucy Camden), Barry Watson (Matt Camden) and David Gallagher (Simon Camden). As noted in his tweet, Mackenzie Rosman (Ruthie Camden) wasn’t able to make it.
Biel and Mitchell — now expecting her second child — have remained the best of friends since playing sisters on the family show, which ran from 1996 to 2007. Mitchell attended Biel’s October 2012 nuptials to Justin Timberlake. Biel celebrated Mitchell’s first pregnancy at a baby shower in February 2013 and was a bridesmaid in her 2008 wedding.
“Something truly amazing happened last night and my heart is overflowing! Love these peeps more than I can ever explain! We were just missing Mack!” Mitchell wrote on her WhoSay page. “Feeling so incredibly blessed to have these incredible people in my life!!! #theresnothinglikefamily #7thheaven #love #blessed.” See more stars of the WB, then and now.
