Alicia Silverstone was as Clueless as Cher!

In a new interview with Out magazine, the 36-year-old actress revealed she unknowingly fell for a gay guy when she was younger -- just like her character Cher in the 1995 cult classic, Clueless.

"I've had so many crushes on gay boys. My first love was so gay, and I didn't know," she said. "I used to defend him because everyone would say he was gay, but he'd say he wasn't. Then, about six years later, he had the big talk with me."

Silverstone, 36, married rock musician Christopher Jarecki in June 2005. The couple welcomed their first child together, Bear Blu, in May 2011.

The Vamps actress admitted in an interview with Redbook in October 2009 that the success of Clueless was very "overwhelming" for her. "I was really isolated. From 19 to 28 there was a lot of turmoil in my life, but in a stuck way," she explained. "Then, around 28, my life started to get shaken up. I realized I wanted to grow more and that anything that wasn't working in my life, I could fix it. I feel like I came into my womanhood. And that was when I got married. I wasn't attached to the idea of marriage, but something about Christopher and me —- when we got married, things got more clear. My life and my decisions."

The Clueless cast recently reunited after 17 years on Good Morning America Friday, Oct. 5. During the interview, Silverstone revealed that the film almost didn't make it to the big screen. "At the time, people were saying like, 'Who wants to watch a bunch of young people?'" she explained.
