Anna Paquin: "I'm Bisexual"

Anna Paquin has come out of the closet.
The True Blood star says "I'm bisexual, and I give a damn," in a new online public service announcement for the Give a Damn Campaign, aimed at promoting gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality.

Now 27, Paquin dated actor Kieran Culkin in 2007, and has never discussed her sexuality with the press. She became engaged to True Blood costar Stephen Moyer, 40, in August 2009. The couple hasn't yet announced their wedding date.
"We always take the p--- out of each other and are silly with each other, and it is great," Brit actor Moyer has said. "We're very, very happy. She's the best."

Launched Thursday, the "Give a Damn" campaign -- featuring Elton John, Whoopi Goldberg, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne, Wanda Sykes and others -- is part of singer Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund.

"In my life I've crossed paths with many different people and I've seen firsthand what it means to be discriminated against," Lauper says. "As a straight person, I have a responsibility to stand up for gay and transgender people each and every day. We all have to get involved; we all have to give a damn."

77A man is attracted to women, it doesn't mean he can't be with one woman and satisfied same for someone attracted to both men and women. They fulfill each other. Just because there is an attraction to the opposite or same sex doesn't mean you are fantasizing. So there is no emotional cheating. A monogomous man is still going to have a natural attraction to women, it doesn't mean he is fantasizing (though if a porn type person then different story) so use ur logic, see from your own relationship. If she not a monogomous person then she would need to be with more than one partner, but she is married and so maybe one person is enough for her. People come in all shapes and sizes with such a variety of desires. What is important is are you true to yourself and fulfilled in your life. Thats all

Mmmm... have somebody thought about the purpose of her statement and the context in which she made such statement, maybe it really was to support the True Colors Foundation with the Give a Damn campaing. Maybe she and her fianceé have a solid enough relationship. Maybe they decided it wouldn't hurt them as a couple since Stephen Moyer must have know this for a long time now... so probably they thought "well this is a great way to help, come out and take actions" if it didn't hurt them before,why would it hurt them now just because a bunch of ignorants say so. She didn't said she has a girlfriend she said she is bisexual, those are two different things and the odds for a relationship to fail are just the same for gay, straight and bi. A woman can be straight as an arrow and cheat on her husband/boyfriend... is it ok because she did it with a man? Or is it that gay and bisexuals cheat and straight don't...or is it that straight men and women are more keen to be faithful and responsible in their relationship... right? PLEASE GIVE A BREAK!!!

It's amazing how ppl can take it all off for the silverscreen not caring that the whole world is seeing them in the buff. I have nothing against nudity when it's done in the privacy of one's own home (sex w/ someone you love) but to "do it" for the cameras is ridiculous. If someone offered me millions to do this, I'd decline the offer. I have too much respect for myself and I have strong values. Sometimes leaving the clothes on and using your imagination is sexier than in-your-face nakedness. I'm sure Hollywood can produce a decent flick without sex scenes. And yeah I know ppl will say "sex sells". Really? I've never bought a CD in the past based on someone's sexy image. I purchase the music even if the singer is ugly. If the tunes are cool, I'm cool with the tunes.

You know what this is called -- admitting other attractions while prepring to tie the knot? It's called an EMOTIONAL AFFAIR or EMOTIONAL INFIDELITY. If one is about to get married, stating other attractions is a no-no. It's disrespectful to your soon-to-be spouse. It serves no purpose for the relationship. It's just part of an agenda and Anna knows it. I could care less about this woman. I don't care how many movies she's in. I'm sick of this "anything goes" attitude in Hollywood as well. Funny, they think Hollywood is "real" but as a native I can tell you one thing -- Hollywood isn't real.
