Barack Obama may be the leader of the free world, but he's no match for Tiger Woods on the green. The President of the United States went golfing with the pro athlete on Sunday, Feb. 17, in Florida.
"He plays a different game than I do," Obama told ABC7 San Francisco of Woods. "He's on another planet."
The married father of two added, "He knew that I wasn't a big threat to his world ranking, and I knew that I better keep my day job." Woods, 37, spoke about their outing during the recent Accenture Match Play tournament. "Playing with Mr. President was pretty cool," the golf pro said. "He's just a wonderful person to be around. We won."
Obama is the second president to play with Woods, who has also golfed with Bill Clinton.
Before the unlikely pals hit the links, 51-year-old Obama took lessons from Woods' former swing coach, Butch Harmon, at the Floridian Golf Club in Palm City, Fla.
