Streisand, whose last appearance on evening television was in 1967 when she was a guest on Johnny Carson‘s Tonight Show, came back with a bang to publicize her new album “Partners” which features well-loved duets with a string of famous collaborators including Elvis Presley, Blake Shelton and Michael Buble.

And in order for Streisand to showcase her favorite duets from the album on his show, it fell on Fallon to fill in for the Funny Girl’s high-profile singing partners.

“Of course Elvis is no longer with us,” the show host explained. “So standing in for Elvis, Blake and Buble will be me.”
