The Bachelor’s Ben Higgins and fiancée Lauren Bushnell headed to his hometown of Warsaw, Indiana, over the weekend to celebrate Easter with his family.
Bushnell, 25, took to Instagram on Saturday, March 26, to share a sweet picture with her love and his mom, Amy.
“Love these people,” the season 20 winner captioned the photo.
Her fiancé, 28, also took to social media to share a similar shot of his own. In the pic, Bushnell plants a kiss on his right cheek as his mom does the same on the opposite side.
The happy couple even spent some time with Higgins’ 90-year-old grandpa while visiting Warsaw.
Higgins proposed to Bushnell during the hit ABC show’s season finale on March 14, after he told her and runner-up JoJo Fletcher that he was in love with both of them. After the finale, Fletcher, 25, was announced as the next Bachelorette.
The groom-to-be recently told the Associated Press that he’s thrilled that he and Bushnell can finally enjoy their engagement publicly, but that they aren’t seeking fame.
“The spotlight is not a desire of mine,” he said. “If it happens, it happens and that’s great and grand and whatever you want to call it. Opportunities? Yeah. I have a great job right now and Lauren has a great job. It’s been fun for us.”
