Bobbi Kristina Brown was involved in a car crash just four days before she was found facedown and unresponsive in a bathtub, the Roswell Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly on Thursday, Feb. 12.
According to Roswell, Ga. police, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter was driving a Jeep Liberty when she lost control on Jan. 27, crossing lanes into oncoming traffic. She hit another vehicle, which resulted in injuries for both the driver she hit and a passenger in her Jeep.
Four days later on Jan. 31, the 21-year-old music scion was found unresponsive in a bathtub by her friend Max Lomas, at her home in suburban Atlanta. Her longtime love Nick Gordon was performing CPR on Bobbi when paramedics arrived at the scene. She has now been in a medically-induced coma for nearly 13 days straight and remains on life support at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.
The Associated Press, which first reported the news, also reported on Thursday that Gordon had called 911 in July 2013, telling police that Bobbi fell and was unresponsive. The officer noted in the records that she was "disoriented."
As previously reported by Us, Gordon — who is under investigation for unexplained injuries found on Bobbi's body — has not returned to visit his love at Emory, although the reason why remains unclear. Meanwhile, police confirmed to Us on Wednesday, Feb. 11, that the bathtub case is being treated as a criminal investigation.
The Roswell PD also confirmed to Us on Wednesday that Gordon and Brown's neighbor reported a domestic dispute at their address one week before Bobbi was found facedown in the bathtub.
As more details continue to come to light, Bobbi's aunt Leolah spoke out to local Fox affiliate 5 on Wednesday, claiming that her niece was "opening her eyes" while still on life support.
