Bye-bye, Brandi. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills veteran Brandi Glanville is leaving the Bravo franchise after four seasons, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.
Insiders confirmed Glanville's departure from the series to Us on Thursday, June 18, after Glanville tweeted about the rumors. "I woke up with a sore throat and a HUGE decision to make today!" she wrote on Thursday. "#RHOBH Will let you all know later I promise !!"
She cited one con about starring in the series. "It can be a hard show to do &I've often cared about making it interesting even if it was to my own detriment," she wrote. "#JOB."
On the series, Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife is known for her acerbic behavior and contentious relationships with her fellow Housewives, including franchise stars Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, and most recently, Lisa Rinna. Another source tells Us that Glanville's costars were having a hard time filming with her. Yolanda Foster, meanwhile, is coming back.
"The other Beverly Hills Housewives don't like Brandi," a separate insider confirms to Us of the Drinking and Tweeting author, who joined the show as a "friend" in season 2 and became a full-time star in season 3. "She's out of control... She's just a s--- starter and everyone is tired of it."
According to yet another source, the decision was made several months ago. "Brandi and Kim [Richards] are definitely gone," the source told Us at the time. (It was confirmed this past month that Richards — she and Glanville became very close over the course of Season 5 — would not be returning to the show following her recent high-profile arrest for public intoxication.)
Glanville, 42, has yet to confirm her exact status on RHOBH's Season 6. Instead, the mother of two boys, Mason and Jake, tweeted on Thursday afternoon: "Just saw a really cute house for us! It has other applications fingers crossed!"
