“In case you missed it,” the pregnant-again political scion, 24, wrote, briefing readers on one of the biggest news stories of the week. “The President invited Ahmed Mohamed to visit the White House to show the President his homemade clock. The fourteen year old was arrested after someone reported that he was building a bomb.”

Mohamed, a ninth grade student at MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas, was detained by police this week after he brought a homemade clock to school. Mohamed — who was wearing a NASA shirt at the time of his arrest — intended to share his invention with his engineering teacher, but he was instead suspended and handcuffed after another faculty member mistook the item for a bomb.

After he was arrested, celebrity supporters including Obama and Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg encouraged Mohamed to keep inventing and creating. Bobak Ferdoswi, a systems engineer at NASA, also reached out to the future talent. “Hey Ahmed, give me a call in a couple years,” he wrote. “We could always use smart, curious & creative people.”

However, Palin felt that President Obama had overstepped the line. “This is the kind of stuff Obama needs to STAY out of,” she wrote. “This encourages more racial strife that is already going on with the ‘Black Lives Matter’ crowd and encourages victimhood. The police made a mistake, clearly. But why put more people against them? Why egg it on?”

Palin concluded that Obama’s outreach to the high school student was premeditated. “Childish games like this from our president have divided our country,” she wrote. “Even more today than when he was elected.”
