Calvin Harris was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles on Friday, May 20, a statement on his Facebook page confirmed.

“Adam’s transport was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport,” the statement read. “As a result, he will be unable to perform at Omnia tonight. He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days.”

According to TMZ, the 32-year-old music producer (né Adam Wiles) was a passenger in a Cadillac SUV when a Volkswagen Beetle convertible crossed the center line and crashed into the SUV.

The crash was reportedly “so violent” that one of the passengers from the VW bug was ejected from the car and suffered a broken pelvis.

Harris, who is currently dating Taylor Swift, reportedly suffered a laceration on his face and was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. He was scheduled to perform at Omnia nightclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Friday night.

Last month, the DJ gave an electrifying performance at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, where Swift, 26, watched in complete adoration as surprise guest Rihanna took the stage with her beau.

The EDM producer and the Barbadian beauty later collaborated on a new single titled “This Is What You Came For.”

More updates to come on Harris’ car accident.
