Chelsea Handler to Launch E! Spinoff Show

-- Get ready for more laughs! Chelsea Handler will star in After Lately, a half-hour, semi-scripted comedy that will explore the backstage shenanigans at E!'s Chelsea Lately. Modeled after HBO's The Larry Sanders Show, After Lately will begin production on its first eight episodes in a few weeks. "The show is a behind-the-scenes look at what happens at our office when the cameras are off," Handler, 35, said, adding that it's "perfect platform for people who have no business being on camera." Joining Handler on the program will be Chelsea Lately regulars Heather McDonald, Sarah Colonna, Guy Branum, Chris Franjola and Brad Wollack. [Variety]
