Get it girl! Chrissy Teigen threw the first pitch at the Dodgers game in L.A. on Tuesday, Aug. 5, putting another celebrity to shame with her killer skills.
“Throwing out the first pitch at the @dodgers game August 5th. Making John [Legend] practice with me now. I have such a false confidence after 50cent,” she tweeted on July 31, teasing the rapper. (50 Cent previously made a hilarious first pitch blunder at a Mets game in May.)
Teigen, 28, took what she learned from husband Legend and continued to prep moments before hitting the field. “PRACTICE,” she tweeted Tuesday. She also had a pep talk with Dodgers catcher Drew Butera. “It’s almost like he cares about the game,” she joked, along with a Vine video of the two. For her big moment she wore a Dodgers jersey, blue short shorts, knee-high socks and donned a festive blue ribbon with her high ponytail.
Prior to the game, the Sports Illustrated model relaxed (a little too much!) with her parents. “Dad making birthday margaritas like only dad can!! I love you dad, happy birthday!!!!” she tweeted. “Crap I’m pretty drunk.”
