Update: Cops Called on Dina Lohan at Ice Cream Shop

Another Lohan is in trouble with the law.
Dina Lohan stopped by a Carvel ice cream shop on New York's Long Island Wednesday afternoon to pick up a cake to celebrate her son Cody's 14th birthday.
While checking out, Lindsay's mom produced a Carvel "Black" card, which entitles her to free ice cream for 75 years, she tells RadarOnline.com, which first reported the story.

"The shop assistant said, 'Do you have I.D.?'" Dina says. "Next minute, he grabbed my arm and took my card and held it hostage and wouldn't give me the cake! This guy was crazy!"
The problem: Everyone in the family has their own card, and Dina had accidentally grabbed 16-year-old daughter Ali's from the house before leaving the house.

"I didn't think it be a problem," Dina told RadarOnline.com. "I couldn't believe this guy... it's a family card, it just didn't have my name on it."
"Next minute, four cop cars showed up, there's a police helicopter overhead and this guy makes it seem to the cops that I'm trying to use a stolen credit card -- and for what? Over a free ice cream?!" Dina fumes.
She tried to explain the situation to police, but the employee still wouldn't give the card back, "even to the cops!"

"Finally he gave up and gave me my card back. But he told me, 'You can have the card, but you can't have the cake!' bemoans Dina. "It just shows how we get treated so much worse than regular people."
Dina plans to exact revenge.
"Just wait until Lindsay and Ali hear about this," she says. "When Ali gets back, I'm going to bring her in everyday to this store -- and you can print that!"

The company slams Dina in a new statement, saying Lindsay was just one of 75 celebs who received the promotional "Black" card to commemorate the ice cream shop's 75th birthday.
In a statement to RadarOnline.com, they say, "Unfortunately, the Lohan family has been abusing the card. While the card was issued in Lindsay’s name only, her extended family has repeatedly used the card without her present. At first, we graciously honored their requests while explaining that the Black Card was not a carte blanc for unlimited Carvel Ice Cream for the extended Lohan family and friends. After more than six months of numerous and large orders for ice cream, we finally had to cut off the card and take it back."

If Carvel sticks to their guns and lets hope they do, the only thing that Dina will get by taking Ali up there is pissed off. According to the employee the card was given back, he refused to give her the cake because the ONLY NAME on the card in LINDSEY! The card is not a FAMILY card, only has one name on it, so let her rant and rave all she wants, call the cops and have her trespassed and charge with public nuisance! She can argue over a cake she doesnt want to pay for, but cant go to court to stand behind her daughter, stating she didnt know a sentence was gonna be handed down. Um that's your child, you are there no matter what. Also Dina just signed a contract for reality show with the kids. Her statement of this is how we "celebrities" get treated so much worse. 1.) Dina you aren't the celebrity, your daughter Lindsey is, and in case you haven't noticed she cant keep a job because of her personal crisis's. 2.) I wonder if this show of stupidity was for the show!
This is hilarious. Dina Lohan is a MESS! Given that Carvel gave so many details, I think it goes to show that they don't have anything to hide and it sounds like they're being honest in explaining the situation. Plus it's SO CLASSIC Lohan....

As a former Carvel employee this story is just ridiculous to me...how does one think that free ice cream equates to a cake! I can see a cone or sundae here or there but these celebrity families are just blatant abusers! Would the Lohan's just leave Long Island already!Carvel owners are small family owned businesses just looking to support their families...Dina you should be ashamed of yourself for still saying you'll take your daughter back to that store everyday for free ice cream..you're a PIG and a THIEF! and executives should choose wisely next time they go doleing out "Free for Life" cards!

If Dina hadn't pimped out her kids she would be just a regular person too...but she is sooo lucky she has a strung out alcholic daughter, a 16 year old who looks 30 and will more than likely be a drunk or coke-head too...what a loser family!
What an immature, childish woman. She's going to bring her teenage daughter (who isn't even a real celebrity) into a store every day to get back at them for not letting her get a free ice cream cake? Just goes to show ya that even though these celebs can live in million dollar homes and buy anything they want, they get freebies even from Carvel, the cost goes to those who pay for the one scoop with sprinkes, another reason for me not to go there
