Playing the field! Demi Lovato is hooking up with a knockout: sleeve-tattooed MMA pro fighter Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos, a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
But the two, who both train at West Hollywood’s Unbreakable Performance Center, aren’t serious. Having ended a six-year romance with Wilmer Valderrama in June, the “Give Your Heart a Break” singer, 23, is “just having fun,” adds another insider. “Demi’s still looking to meet new guys.”
The former Disney star and the That ‘70s Show alum, 36, released a joint statement on June 3 to announce that they had gone their separate ways.
“After almost six loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship,” Lovato and Valderrama wrote on their respective Instagram accounts. “This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as friends. We will always be supportive of one another.”
They continued, “Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years. With only love, Wilmer & Demi.”
For his part, Valderrama says that he’s also moved on from Demi — but his focus is on his career. And he has no complaints about his life post-split.
"[I'm] good, very good," he told E! while promoting his new partnership with Old Spice's Right Hair Wrongs campaign July 7. "It's been a great summer for work, I've done some incredible things." Indeed, Valderrama recently landed a new role as a series regular on CBS’ drama NCIS, playing an unpredictable field agent.
Meanwhile, Lovato is currently on her Future Now tour with Nick Jonas through mid-September.
