After over four years of dating, Dev Patel and Freida Pinto are still very much in love. So much so, that the Slumdog Millionaire costars don't even celebrate Valentine's Day — because they celebrate it every day!
"I actually am not a big Valentine's Day supporter," India-born Pinto, 28, told Us Weekly Friday, Feb. 1 at the 44th NAACP Image Awards and Post-Gala at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A. "Every day should be a celebration of love," Patel, 22, explained.
"Exactly," his girlfriend agreed. "I don't really celebrate it."
But if they do choose do acknowledge the holiday, the couple probably won't be cooking a nice dinner at home. "She's not the best cook in the world," the London native confessed to Us with a laugh.
Pinto didn't take any offense to that remark and added, "Best cook? I don't even cook or attempt."
And Pinto's lack of cooking skills actually makes them more compatible because they both enjoy eating out.
"We're big foodies. It doesn't look like it, but we love food," the slim Newsroom actor joked said. "Going out and eating at restaurants is very fun."
