Duchess Kate, Prince William Beam in New Portrait With ‘Lovely’ Thank You Note to Royal Photographer

Lookin’ good! Kate Middleton and Prince William look picture perfect in a portrait that they sent to U.K. royal photographer Paul Ratcliffe as part of a thank you note he shared via Twitter on Wednesday, May 25.

“Lovely thank you card received from TRH The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge for their 5th Wedding anniversary,” Ratcliffe tweeted, along with an image of the happy couple posing in a garden.

In the photo, the Duchess, 34, dons a mint green pleated skirt and matching 3/4-sleeve tweed jacket. She wears her hair down in loose curls around her shoulders.

Ratcliffe also shared an image of the back of the card, which had a few kind words from the royal pair.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were so touched that you took the trouble to write as you did on the occasion of their 5th Wedding Anniversary,” the note reads. “It really was most thoughtful of you and Their Royal Highnesses send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.”

The pair celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on Friday, April 29, with a “low-key, private” celebration following their whirlwind trip to India and Bhutan earlier in the month.

“They already feel like they’ve been celebrating,” an insider told Us Weekly of the college sweethearts.
