Fake Football Player Crashes Arizona Rattlers Cheerleaders’ Routine, Shows Everyone How It’s Done

Hey No. 75! Show Us what you’re workin’ with! On Saturday, Aug. 15, one man showed the crowd — and the Internet — what it really means to have moves on the field.

During an Arizona Rattlers game time-out Saturday, a “football player” joined in on the Sidewinders dance squad’s routine in a seemingly impromptu moment, twerking and shimmying alongside the cheerleaders.

The player stole the spotlight, even ending the routine by doing the splits. Video of the amazing performance went viral not long afterward.

Later on, it was revealed that the football player wasn’t a football player at all, but rather choreographer Oscar Hernandez, who creates routines for the NBA, NFL, AFL, and WNBA cheer and dance teams.

On Monday, Aug. 17, Hernandez posted a screenshot of the video on his Instagram, captioning the shot, “It went viral in 1 day crazy thanks for the love y’all.”

No word yet on whether opposing team the Spokane Shock has a retaliatory dance in the works.
