Move over, Mr. Sheffield!
Fran Drescher's marriage to her "soul mate" Peter Marc Jacobson didn't work out, but the loud-mouthed Queens' native still gets her fix of men.
"I've been with several people," she told Us Weekly on Monday at TV Land's premiere party in New York. "Right now I have a very dear friend with benefits who I love. We've been together for three years. He turns me on, he's really good looking. He's smart. But we're on a slightly different page in the book of life but I continue to look."
The 53-year-old actress' new sitcom, Happily Divorced, premieres June 15 on TV Land. It's based on her real-life relationship with her now ex-hubby who revealed he was gay after they married in 1978.
Despite their marriage ending in divorce in 1999, Fran and Jacobson have remained close. "We are high school sweethearts. We've known each other so long… And life takes you on different roads and it’s a long and winding path," she explained. "We had very sound advice from our manager who said you have all these years together, you have to figure out how to reinvent the relationship, because what happens to the love? You can’t just throw away all those years."
