The handsome actor, 53, and his British barrister wife, 36, said, “I do” for the second time on Monday, Sept. 29, this time at Venice’s Palazzo Ca’ Loredan, an official council building where a civil ceremony was conducted in accordance with Italy’s laws.

The pair, who traveled to their venue in the same Amore boat they’ve used all weekend, said their vows for the second time in the stunning Sala Degli Affreschi, an ornately decorated room, complete with two stunning chandeliers.

Clooney’s friend, former Rome Mayor Walter Veltroni performed the civil ceremony (he also performed the couple’s ceremony on Saturday). Clooney’s favorite taxi driver Alessandro Greco, who was invited to the wedding as Us Weekly previously reported, was an official witness.

Talking as he emerged from the Palazzo, Clooney told Us he felt “very good” before smiling and nuzzling into his new wife’s neck.

This the final part of the couple’s lavish, weekend-long Venetian wedding celebrations, which have seen celebrity pals including Anna Wintour, Cindy Crawford, Matt Damon, Emily Blunt and Bill Murray jet to the Italian city to celebrate with their friends.

The festivities kicked off on Friday night with concurrent bachelor and bachelorette parties before the main event, on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Venice’s Aman Canal Grande hotel. The ceremony in the stunning seven-star hotel included touching, hand-written vows, a five-course banquet, speeches and music.

On Sunday, Sept. 28, the partying moved to the Belmond Hotel Cipriani, where most guests had been staying, for one final big evening party, where Alamuddin’s dad Ramzi made a speech.

“He did a toast and mentioned it was important to think of those in Lebanon and how they are suffering,” a source told Us Weekly. “He commented on how happy he was with the wedding, which in his opinion was the perfect blend of luxury and simplicity.”

Now that the civil ceremony has finished, Clooney and his wife will make their way to the airport, where their bags are already waiting.
