Boyfriend, fiancé, husband, brother?! Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have remained amicable since they decided to consciously uncouple after 10 years of marriage in March 2014. So much so, that the One Hit Wonders actress now considers him to be her, er, sibling.
As previously reported, Paltrow filed for divorce from the Coldplay frontman, 38, in April 2015, one year after their split. The pair share daughter Apple, 10, and son Moses, 9.
“We spend a lot of time together. He’s been away for two weeks [promoting Coldplay’s album A Head Full of Dreams]. Last night he got in at midnight and slept here so he could surprise the kids in the morning, we could all have breakfast, and he could take them to school,” Paltrow, 43, explains in Glamour’s March issue.
“So … we’re not living together, but he’s more than welcome to be with us whenever he wants. And vice versa: I sleep in his house in Malibu a lot with the kids. We’ll have a weekend all together; holidays, we’re together,” she adds. “We’re still very much a family, even though we don’t have a romantic relationship. He’s like my brother.”
Indeed, Paltrow and Martin have both moved on since calling it quits. Us Weekly exclusively revealed last August that Martin is dating actress Annabelle Wallis. Paltrow, meanwhile, has been in a relationship with Glee and Scream Queens co-creator Brad Falchuk since August 2014 — but she’s in no rush to get married again. (The two first met when Paltrow guest-starred on Glee in 2010.)
“I don’t know. I guess so. I mean, I believe in marriage,” she says. “But I’m not even divorced yet! So give me a minute.”
