Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's divorce proceedings have taken a backseat to their two children, 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

The former couple, who announced their split July 15, were seen in the backseat of a red convertible near Sagg Main Beach in Southampton, New York, TMZ reports. (See the photo here.)

According to 42-year-old Anthony's rep, the Latin crooner was in town to visit his children. (In addition to his two kids with Lopez, Anthony has three additional children: one out of wedlock, and two with his first wife, Dayanara Torres. It's unclear which children Anthony was visiting.)

An insider recently told Us Weekly that Anthony isn't quite over his ex, 42, who signed on for another season of American Idol Wednesday.
"His mood shifts from blaming her to begging her to take him back to telling her she is destroying his life," the insider told Us. While hashing out the details of their impending divorce, Anthony was "being difficult on every little point...He wants to prolong things so she reconsiders."

19Why do a lot of people think this is a publicity stunt? No one in their right mind would do that to their children. They never seeme to be suited to each other as from what I have heard about them. Many famous marriages end because of infidelity and they are probably no acception.

If a man has cheated once, and gotten away with it, he will repeat that cheating again and again. I can understand keeping in contact with the dad, but ONLY for the kids sakes, and then, only if it doesn't cause undo stress on them. I'm not saying stay with the man, solely for the kids sakes, they are far smarter than adults often gives them credit for being. They can sense when Mommy & Daddy are or have been fighting, either physically, or verbally. The emotional scars they may have from these squabbles will sadly last them a lifetime. Jennifer is beautiful, smart, talented, and should think of herself and her kids first, and find someone deserving of her love. I hope she thinks back to the movie she starred in a few years back; when an abused wife finally decided to stand up for herself and FIGHT BACK! Abuse is not only physical, it's emotional as well. While they both may still love each other, it seems evident, that love does not have the same intensity as it once did. They both should move on!

Hat to be the voice of reason but all people divorcing don't hate each other. So what is they were photographed together? They have kids, are probably working out divorce settlement, I'll be surprised if this is a PR stunt.

i hope for the sake of those innocent children that they are not using this as a PR stunt.. i doubt it they are just being latina with fiery temprament its their right to change their minds.. being a celebrity doesnt mean you switch off being human even though a lot of them believe their own publicity ..

or a majority of parents in general, are out of wedlock. but it's usually used in a negative connotation, which it doesn't have to mean. it's not a crime.
i love how they throw in the 'out of wedlock' comment....as if the majority of all the celebrities you feature on this sight aren't having babies out of wedlock...
