She luhs ya, Puffy! After Sean "Diddy" Combs raved to Access Hollywood Live about ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez's "incredible" booty, J.Lo herself sat down with Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson to watch the clip. The sexy "First Love" singer laughed at Diddy's description of her famous derriere as a "work of art," then gushed to Robinson that she'd learned "so much" from him during their time together in the late 1990s.
"Puffy — he'll always be Puffy to me. We spent three years of our lives together, almost every single day," Lopez, 45, began. "And as much as he roots for me, and as proud as he is of me and of the time we had together, I am just as proud to see what he's done."
The chart-topper went on to praise her ex-boyfriend's TV network, Revolt, and "all the things he's done as a businessman, [while] still being true to his music and his art and trying to uplift his community in his own way." In fact, she said, she aspires to a similar kind of career.
"It's the same thing that I try to do," the American Idol judge told Robinson. "And I feel like I learned a lot from him coming up, watching him. He had been in the business awhile, and I was making my first record when I met Puffy. And he gave me so many cues and taught me so many things, and I'll always be grateful to him for that."
Diddy is grateful to her, too — but for different reasons. "Oh my God. I'm so lucky to have that great woman in my history," he told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush on Tuesday, Sept. 30. "She is one of the greatest I've ever seen...Her drive, her determination, she will never give up. She's a great friend of mine, always will be my friend."
Lopez — single since her split earlier this year from longtime love Casper Smart — echoed that sentiment in her chat on Tuesday. "I love that he can be so supportive of me so many years later," she said, "and that there's still so much mutual respect, admiration, and love there."
