And their pup, too! Jennifer Westfeldt was spotted in New York City for the first time since her September split from longtime love Jon Hamm on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The Friends With Kids actress, 45, tried to keep a low profile while walking the pair’s dog, Cora, around Central Park. She wore a brown skirt, matching tights, and a blue sweater. She also donned sunglasses and a hat.
Us Weekly confirmed last month that Westfeldt and the Mad Men alum, 44, had broken up after 18 years together. “They’ve been fighting for a while, but now they’re done,” an insider told Us at the time. “They decided to finally split. It’s sad.”
Despite the heartbreak, the pair remain on good terms. Hamm thanked Westfeldt during his Emmys acceptance speech on Sept. 20 when he finally took home the award for Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
“I want to thank the people to whom I owe this incredible debt,” he said, giving a shout-out to “Cora and Jen” at the end. “Thank you all very much. I would not be standing here without you.”
Back in 2010, Hamm also gushed over Westfeldt during an interview with Parade magazine. “I don’t have the marriage chip, and neither of us have the greatest examples of marriages in our families,” he said at the time. “But Jen is the love of my life, and we’ve already been together four times longer than my parents were married.”
