Throwback … Tuesday? Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato had a Camp Rock reunion during the Washington, D.C., stop of Lovato’s tour with Joe’s younger brother, Nick, on Tuesday, July 26.
The pair, who famously costarred in the hit 2008 made-for-TV Disney movie, surprised fans when Nick, 23, invited Joe, 26, to the stage. “Joe, why don’t you come on out here?” the youngest Jonas brother said as thousands of fans cheered.
The DNCE crooner then proceeded to sing “Gotta Find You” as Lovato, 23, performed “This Is Me” simultaneously, just like they did in the popular teen flick.
Afterward, Joe addressed fans before launching into DNCE’s summer hit “Cake by the Ocean.” “Now that we did all that sentimental bulls–t, let’s have some fun,” he said.
The former boy bander took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 27, to share a sweet photo from the night.
“Sharing the stage with @nickjonas and @ddlovato in DC last night!” he captioned the shot of him and Lovato embracing tightly with Nick off to the side with his guitar. “Surprising Demi with Gotta find you was something I will never forget! Thanks for having me guys! Amazing show you two put on. Proud to have such talented wonderful people in my life.”
