Watch the thrown? Kanye West is being called out for his spelling skills. The rapper accidentally wrote “thrown” when he meant “throne” in a tweet on Wednesday, February 17 — and has since fixed the comment.

“My number one enemy has been my ego,” he shared with his 19 million-plus followers, “there is only one thrown and that’s God’s.”

West’s error didn’t go unnoticed.

“@kanyewest Did you seriously just spell THRONE ‘THROWN’?!” one user wrote. Another added: “@kanyewest and u had an album with Jay called Watch the Thrown?” (West and Jay Z released the album Watch the Throne in 2011.)

One tweeter didn’t think his spelling mistake was funny, though. “I’ve called this man a genius but this is annoying now,” a comment read. (West previously called himself a “creative genius” during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2013.)

West can’t seem to stay out of the headlines these days. The dad of two has posted several Twitter rants recently, which have included remarks about his new album, The Life of Pablo, how he’s $53 million in debt and how “white publications” shouldn’t write about black music.
