Kat Von D: I'm Not Afraid to Date Jesse James Because He Once Cheated

Sandra Bullock fans may not have forgiven Jesse James for cheating on the Oscar-winning actress -- but his new girlfriend Kat von D has.
"I am a believer that we're all human and we're all capable of making mistakes," she said on the Kevin & Bean radio show on L.A.'s KROQ-FM Thursday. "I think if I were to be crucified for my drug addiction three years ago now, it would be hard to live with that. I'm sober now, and it's awesome. But I have made mistakes, too."

She added, "I've got a lot of respect for Jesse and how he handled it."
UsMagazine.com previously reported that the two checked out BODIES: The Exhibition" at the Luxor Hotel & Casino Sunday in Las Vegas, where they held hands and shared a passionate kiss.
Von D, 28, star of TLC's LA Ink, said she's known James, 41, since she was 22. "We've always been friends," she said. "He had his show on Discovery; that's how we met. I was looking for some advice when I first started on Miami Ink."

She said they aren't an item simply because they both are heavily inked.
"Just because I have tattoos doesn't mean, 'Oh, you guys are a perfect match,'" she said. "I think that I'm his type on a different level than people would assume."

What exactly does she respect in the way he conducted himself? The media caught him, it seems, long before he ever planned on letting his wife know that he was cheating. People do make mistakes, but you're very ignorant to think that being so blindly forgiving of someone who repeatedly makes the same mistake is a good thing.

I think Kat has a lot to learn about life... I mean treating Corey Miller like trash after all he has done for her. If she is that forgiving about a love intrest... "Why didn't she have all this wisdom in the Corey situation?" At the end of the day I don't think she is going to have anyone that truely cares for her.... Once a cheater always a cheater.. and it has been proven over and over.
Like I said before, he needs to surround himself with others who make his mistakes seem "less"...It's a way of him avoiding his problems, rather then facing them.
