Over the moon! It's been three weeks since Kate Bosworth wed film director Michael Polish on Aug. 31, and yet the couple are still in their honeymoon stage. During a special premiere of Big Sur — the film where the two actually first met in 2011 — Bosworth revealed that married life keeps getting "better and better all the time."

"I was enamored by Michael's work before meeting him and that was the main reason I signed on to the film, to work with him as a director. I think we both felt we wanted to work together on every project because we work together so well," the 30-year-old actress revealed to Us Weekly at the Avalon Theater in Catalina, Calif., on Saturday, Sept. 21. "I think we were marking today, even as we walked out the door, that we're such a strong artistic match and that evolved organically into not wanting to leave each other's side ever."

"It's difficult as a director, you always work with a bunch of different actors and then when you click in with somebody you don't really want to leave that person," Polish, 42, said. "It also happened to be someone I was very attracted to but also very talented." He added: "It's the one [film] you show your children when they're old enough and you say, 'This is where I met your mother,' and that's probably the most special part."

Bosworth wore a white blouse and loose creme slacks for the momentous occasion, with a long crystal beaded chain necklace, simple diamond earrings and her engagement ring. Of course, the pair also wore their matching silver wedding bands for the premiere.

The Win a Date With Tad Hamilton! actress and Polish exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Philipsburg, Montana in front of 75 of their closest family and friends at The Ranch at Rock Creek, sources previously revealed to Us. The bride wore two custom Oscar de la Renta dresses for the big day and the couple also read their own vows.

"It was a blast!" Bosworth recalled. "Rather than stress we looked at each other before entering the four days, because it was a four day long wedding." She added: "We made a pact that we would enjoy every moment and make sure that we were in the moment."
