When at Kimye's wedding! Not only were Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding guests given front row seats to one of the biggest ceremonies of the year, but they were also treated to a fine gourmet Italian meal.
As previously reported, the couple hired three-Michelin-star restaurateur Giorgio Pinchiorri to cater their event at Forte di Belvedere in Florence Italy, on Saturday, May 24.
The top-rated chef didn't disappoint, offering guests six different options with two choices for dessert. Us Weekly obtained the couple's reception menu, which features such delicacies as monkfish fillet in a crust of aromatic herbs on a bed of pureed celeriac, homemade mezzelune pasta stuffed with ricotta cheese thyme and marjoram, and beef fillet with brunello di montalcino sauce.
For dessert Kardashian and West's friends, who included Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, LaLa Anthony, Lorraine Schwartz, Q-Tip, and Tony Williams, had the option of eating homemade strawberry sorbet or wedding cake.
Before the swanky reception, the couple said their "I do's" at a private ceremony at the Forte di Belvedere, which was planned by event coordinator Sharon Sacks. Stepfather Bruce Jenner walked Kardashian down the aisle, and mother Kris Jenner carried the pair's adorable daughter North. Both bride and groom wore custom Givenchy for the buzzed-about nuptials.
For their first dance, Kimye swayed to a mashup of Etta James' "At Last" and Otis Redding's "These Arms of Mine" and "Tenderness" before Yeezus segued into his own rap for the crowd. John Legend then performed his hit "All of Me," saying first, "I am so happy for Kim and Kanye, Kanye was inspired by you, knew he was in love with you, knew you were the one...I know Kanye personally as a person, as a friend and as a mentor...I believe in you two and I also believe in this song, and it's number one now!"
