Keeping him close. Kris Jenner has purchased a $2.3 million estate in her gated community in Calabasas, California, and the property is reportedly for her son, Rob Kardashian.
Trulia confirmed to Us Weekly on Tuesday, February 23, that the Kardashian family matriarch scooped up the property, which is located on a cul-de-sac in the community. The four-bedroom, five-bathroom estate, built in 2005 and encompassing 4,256 square feet, was purchased by Jenner for $2,285,000.
Amenities include a “spacious office with French doors” that swing open to a light-filled porch, plus a swimming pool, spa, outdoor kitchenette and even a fire pit.
Though the home is under Kris’ name, TMZ reported on Tuesday that the sprawling estate will be occupied by Rob, who’s been living with his girlfriend Blac Chyna since moving out of Khloe Kardashian’s place a few weeks ago. Luckily, he’ll still be in close proximity to KoKo . . . and Kourtney and Kylie.
Some drama still lingers among the family members, though. On Monday, February 22, Chyna appeared to shade Rob’s youngest sister Kylie, 18, in a now-deleted Instagram post.
An insider previously told Us Weekly that Kylie has grappled with feeling betrayed since Rob started dating Chyna last month. “Kylie says Rob stabbed her in the back,” the source previously told Us. Kylie, however, has been dating Chyna’s ex Tyga since the couple split in August 2014.
Chyna, though, has been good for the reclusive Arthur George sock designer in other ways — including helping him make amends with his mom. “They reconnected and had a long talk,” a source previously told Us of Kris and Rob, 28. “So if it took Blac Chyna to get him here, so be it.”
His improved relationship with Mom isn’t the only benefit of Rob’s romance with Blac Chyna. The reality star is also now focusing on a healthier lifestyle, and has a gorgeous new kitchen space to accommodate his fitness-focused needs. The kitchen space includes stainless steel appliances, a big center island and a breakfast nook.
The new pad also features a formal dining room (because those Kardashians love their family meals!) and a spacious den to host friends and family members.
