Lamar Odom could very well be headed back to Los Angeles, but this time with the city's other basketball team: the L.A. Clippers.

Insiders are telling the Associated Press that Khloe Kardashian's hubby is part of a three-team deal between the Dallas Mavericks, Clippers and Utah Jazz. If it goes through, the 32-year-old basketball star would rejoin the team that drafted him back in 1999.

Back in April, the Mavericks announced that Odom would no longer be playing with the team and instead, be listed as inactive for the rest of the 2011-2012 season. He has one year left on his contract with the Texan team; the Lakers traded him to the Mavericks in December 2011, but dropped after he failed to perform just four months later.

Staying in L.A. would be a huge relief for Kardashian, 28, whose family is based in Calabasas, Calif. Especially since the pair are buckling down to start a family — a feat they have faced since tying the knot in 2009.

"They really want to have a baby and are trying everything," an insider confided to Us Weekly in May. "Now that they're back home in L.A., they can work on that more. Privately."

The 28-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star started fertility treatments at an L.A. clinic earlier this month.
