No wedding bells in store after all. Louise Roe and model Josh Slack have called off their engagement, a source exclusively confirms to Us Weekly.
"They broke up amicably," the insider tells Us. After dating for two and a half years, the 31-year-old host of NBC's reality series Fashion Star -- which was canceled in July -- and Slack, 24, an Abercrombie & Fitch model, got engaged in December. He proposed to the British star using her great-grandmother's aquamarine ring.
In an interview with England's Fabulous magazine in July 2012, Roe shared, "Lots of my friends are getting engaged -- they're dropping like flies!"
Luckily, Roe can use this time to soar. The British host spent Thursday filming reality TV series Plain Jane -- which first aired on the CW in 2010 and currently airs on MTV international in 88 countries — in Malta. "Nice to see the sunshine again!" she shared with her followers on Twitter.
Prior to her hosting duties on Fashion Star and Plain Jane, Roe was known for her role on season 2 of MTV's The City, starring alongside Whitney Port, Olivia Palermo, Erin Kaplan, and Roxy Olin. She credits her first foray into fashion to Elle to an internship with the magazine.
