Michelle Williams isn't letting her romantic turmoil get in the way of work. Hours after Us Weekly exclusively broke news of her breakup with Jason Segel, the 32-year-old actress was back in front of the cameras in Moscow, Russia to continue promotions for Oz The Great and Powerful.
The consummate professional fielded questions about the big-budget Wizard of Oz prequel during a Q&A panel, and then happily posed for photos with costars Mila Kunis and James Franco. The Oscar-nominated starlet giggled in one snapshot -- showing off her lengthening blonde locks and her sexy, toned legs in a black tiered minidress and star-print heels. Williams plays Glinda, the Good Witch of the North in the epic fantasy based on L. Frank Baum's Oz books.
As for her one-year romance with How I Met Your Mother's Segel, 33, "the breakup was mutual," an insider tells Us Weekly. "It's a sad moment. They respect each other." Although the twosome made a valiant effort to make things work -- Segel bonded with Matilda, Williams' 7-year-old daughter with late ex Heath Ledger -- their bicoastal romance proved too difficult to maintain, another inside explained.
"They had a lot of fun, but it just didn't work," another pal said.
