Molly Malaney isn't upset that it rained last Saturday when she and Bachelor Jason Mesnick tied the knot in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

"I loved every minute of the rain," she tells Entertainment Tonight. "It started to rain in the middle of the ceremony, right when I was starting to say our vows. We looked at each other and laughed. It made the day far more special than it ever could have been."

Also making the day special: Her $45,000, strapless Monique Lhuillier gown.

"I felt good in it," she says. "She thought I looked wonderful in it, but we custom-made a few more design elements to the dress."

Walking down the aisle as former American Idol contestant Jason Castro belted out "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" also was a nice touch.

"I always knew when I walked down the aisle, I did not want to walk to the typical wedding march song," Malaney, 25, tells ET. "I wanted something more modern. Jason and I both loved the rendition of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' that Jason Castro sings. It was an easy choice to see if he would do this favor for us. He was phenomenal."

The two are now headed for their honeymoon in South Africa.

"A friend asked me just yesterday, 'Is it any different being a Mrs.?" Malaney says. "Going into the wedding, I didn't think life would be different because we already lived together. I was so wrong. I am the happiest I have ever been. I look at Jason differently. He makes me feel differently. Married life is the best feeling in the world and I wish it for everyone."

im not a jason and molly supporter but in away I am happy for them cuz they really do deserve each other, the way I see it he should have never picked either of them when he was on the show, if he was that unsure and could change his mind in 6 weeks, then he'll change his mind again and it is so outrageous that they had their beautiful wedding paid for, there r much more deserving people in need of that.... he is the jerk 4 sure. what goes around comes around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pathetic, WHAT else is she going to say? NO ONE wants to get soaked in their wedding gown. Stupid they had it outside to begin with, stupider they didn't at least have an arch or gazebo to get married under that had a top to it, so they COULDN'T get wet IF it rained. The wedding "planner" should have had the brains to prepare for this. I wouldn't pay her for ruining my wedding; but I would have had the brains to say, if this is going to be outdoors, then we need some awning. Idiots all around, take it inside if it starts to rain, there should have been a scond plan.

What a couple of morons. The rain was an OMEN. They are two dumb, self centered, UGLY people & their marriage will be filled with tears. I'm delighted that it rained on these two jerks!

i guess all you haters would have preferred jason to stay with melissa just to make you all happy and i quess you have been with the same partner since you were twelve because it's against the law to break up with someone.melissa got exactly what she was looking for from the bachellor, she wanted to be famous,do you really think she wanted to marry jason?if that was the case her husband tye would not have been sitting in the front row exactly one week after the so called "break up" cheering her on in dwts.i bet you all think she's still going to follow her dream and become a first grade teacher too.congrats to molly and jason for following your hearts everybody deserves happiness

This kind of makes me sick. A TV wedding for a scandalous TV couple. Sounds so romantic. No interest in the wedding, the drama or their "fake" life together. They deserve each other. Embarassed to be from Seattle and have him there. You go Melissa....You are real, a doll and deserve happiness...the real kind. So lucky you didn't end up with this loser.

Can't wait to watch the wedding tonight. Just wanted to give a shout out to Jason and Molly, my favorite couple ever from the Bachelor. A real and true love story.

Just saw Jason and Molly on Regis/Kelly. Have to admit, they do look like they are happy and in love. I'll be tuning in to see their nuptials. Congrats to the happy couple.

Oh, "charlotte," or whatever your name is (probably suzie, jan, etc.) No one believe your crap so go away. Millions will watch and wish them well. No matter hard much you want them to go away, and no matter how your jealousy HURTS YOU, Jason and Molly will go on and on annd on and on. What will YOU have to show for your obsession besides lost time? Face it, Jason and Molly are bigger than you are. Deal with it sista.

i work w/molly's cousin and need 2 set the record straight on all these comments. molly & jason fell in love almost immediately on the show. u have 2 realize they r together more than u think. they decided early on that they would be the 1st ever couple 2 marry after being 2nd choice. if u remember the finale, there was NO tears when molly was eliminated - she knew what was going on. she cheapened herself by kissing and hugging him moments after he ended his "engagement" 2 melissa on live TV. her cousin didn't like what she had done, and i didn't like hearing it. i believe they r both crazy and "what goes around, comes around". they have an idiot kid 2 raise and i am sure molly will tire of his bratiness and antics. the show proved it - whatever that kid wants, he gets. kudos 4 melissa and her new husband. she made the right choice. jason will go down as the biggest loser on TV - and i am not talking weight.

  • March 08, 2010 - 2:20am Jan

Molly is beyond words...Melissa's rude departure and pain were all part of Molly and Jason's plan 2 be the 1st couple 2 get married after being the 2nd pick...Molly is the unlucky one...being step mom 2 the brat from hell will be torture...u could see it during the episodes...everything that whining brat wanted, Jason did...Melissa should count her lucky stars she didn't marry that idiot and is now happily married 2 a wonderful man...Good luck Melissa, and Jason and Molly deserve each other - both losers.

Tz, I may watch the wedding myself. I am no supporter, and I will be laughing all the while also, as I stated before. ABC are pros at editing, don't you know that by now? It will be interesting to see how they work their editing skills on that wedding. ABC has done a fantastic time of promoting their (ABC's) wedding. The big payoff comes for them. They don't care who watches it, supporters or not, the payoff is the same for them. Didn't you know that?

  • March 06, 2010 - 9:49pm Daisy

PSH! I would have been upset. =( It's a sign of bad luck LOL

  • March 06, 2010 - 2:19pm tz

wow, Suzie. You need a hug. Doesn't anybody love you? Congratulations to the happy couple. I will indeed be "laughing" while I watch. I'll be thinking about all the people who said no one will be tuning in and for the steam coming off Suzie's head. LOL

  • March 06, 2010 - 12:13pm Suzie

I never said the weddig wouldn't be watched, but how many of those people are laughing?

  • March 06, 2010 - 10:53am Norine Mann

Terranea is a beautiful place overlooking the ocean, high on cliffs. Rain or shine, it's so special and they look gorgeous.

  • March 06, 2010 - 10:22am carol

Too funny. The last two posters (probably the same poster) are hysterical. Hope you're ready to go into hiding when the ratings prove you wrong. You gonna come back in here to see how dumb you both(?) looked? bwaaaaaaaaa

  • March 06, 2010 - 12:21am Kathy

Molly wouldn't have loved the rain had she paid for her wedding dress that was drenched from the rain. She wouldn't have loved the rain had she been a guest subjected to the rain and cold because the bride and groom were too cheap to pay for their own wedding and had the option of putting up a tent to keep the guests dry. It was said by a person who attended the wedding the reason no tent was put up was because Fleiss was too cheap and didn't think the wedding would bring in the ratings. And to the people who think just turning on your TV will boast the ratings......unless you have a Neilsen meter, it doesn't matter if you tune all 200 TVs into the wedding at Best Buy. It's not even going to register as one viewer.

  • March 05, 2010 - 10:53pm Suzie

I was responding to the posters who think rain means good luck on your wedding day. Rain, maybe, stand in it and laugh while your guests are cold and wet is not luck. I hope plastic is a good luck sign too because they sure had alot of it at that wedding too! Suzie tells it like it is. :-)
