Sorry, Miley! Nick Jonas opened up about his first kiss ever during an interview with BBC’s Radio 1 on Wednesday, April 13, and the heartthrob admitted that he gave then-girlfriend Miley Cyrus more than she’d bargained for.
“The first person I kissed was Miley Cyrus, and I kissed her outside of California Pizza Kitchen in Hollywood — very romantic,” he said with a laugh. “I’d just had a pizza that had onions all over it. I’m sure that my breath smelled terrible.”
Jonas, 23, added that he’s pretty confident Cyrus, also 23, remembers that foul-mouthed smooch too.
“I don’t know. I’d have to ask her,” he said, when show host Nick Grimshaw questioned whether or not the “Wrecking Ball” singer would remember the moment. “But I’m sure she does — it was probably pretty potent.”
Both have gone on to date others since their 2006 split, after 18 months of dating.
Cyrus has not only rekindled her romance with Liam Hemsworth, but the two are engaged again after previously splitting in September 2013, after dating for three years. The pair was spotted on the red carpet at Liam’s brother Chris Hemsworth’s new film, The Huntsman: Winter’s War, on Monday, April 11.
And Jonas recently spoke about his rumored relationship with Kate Hudson.
The former Disney star, who initially tried to play coy, eventually told Complex magazine in February that he and Hudson, 36, shared a special bond.
“Kate’s incredible,” he said. “We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that’s beautiful. Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I’m not going to say if we had sex or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She’s amazing.”
