Baby on board! O’Neal McKnight and his wife, Miriam Sternoff, the stars of Lifetime’s documentary series Kosher Soul, are expecting their first child together, the happy couple confirms exclusively to Us Weekly.
“I’m so excited to start this new chapter of our lives,” the 39-year-old comedian/actor/singer tells Us. “I’m so honored and humbled by this. I can’t wait to go shopping for outfits yassssss!!”
This will be the first child for the pair; Sternoff, 38, a celebrity stylist, is five months along.
McKnight, who counts Russell Simmons and Cedric the Entertainer among his close friends, shared an adorable Instagram photo of Sternoff on Thursday, January 7.
“So cute Sutherland is so intrigued that a baby is in there. Lmao!” he captioned a touching shot of a little girl touching Sternoff’s exposed tummy.
The pair wed in May 2014 after initially meeting in the elevator of P. Diddy’s office building (where McKnight worked for the music mogul), and their Lifetime show documents their life together.
Now, their soon-to-be bundle of joy will join them on the small screen.
“I’m so glad our baby chose us,” Sternoff tells Us. “The movements in my stomach are a blessing. Now if I can get O’Neal to stop blasting Michael Jackson music at my stomach. Lol!”
