Deja vu?

Duchess Kate and Prince William arrived Friday in Edinburgh, Scotland for the upcoming nuptials of Zara Phillips' and her rugby beau Mike Tindall. The fashion forward Duchess, 29, was all smiles in the a "Maja" green silk dress by Diane Von Furstenberg. The flattering frock was the same one she wore July 8 to a reception held in her and William's honor at British Consul-General Barbara Hay's L.A. residence.

Kate, William, Prince Harry and other members of the royal family -- including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie -- are attending a pre-wedding bash aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia Friday night.

Earlier in the day, Phillips' mother Princess Anne (Prince Charles' sister) accompanied her daughter and Tindall to a rehearsal at the church. The relaxed couple arrived in a Jaguar and both wore jeans. "Zara hugged Mike's arm before they went their separate ways after the rehearsal," a source told Us Weekly.

On Saturday, William and Harry's cousin Phillips, 30, will say "I do" to Tindall, 32, at Canongate Kirk. An insider told Us that the church is decked out in white roses and beech tree branches. The private reception will be held at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, one of Queen Elizabeth's official residences.

I agree with the person who posted this::: "England has Kate and we have the Kardashians and Snookie" is it any wonder that our children are misguided..

can't believe with all the problems in the world...some are concerned with the dress she wore again. Sad!! and why is it that we never hear about a man wearing the same suit? All he does is change the tie....Leave Kate alone!! Way to go Kate!! Save that money for more important things ;) Had she worn a new one...Im sure they would be talking about how bad the economy is and how she should recycle.

What normal person does not "Recycle" an outfit? IT IS COMPLETELY NORMAL. Quie frankly, in today's horrid world economy, it should be refreshing that the politicos are setting an example, and not spending taxpayer money frivolously! Seriously, with the price of gas already over $3.50/gallon, people are lucky to be able to buy new clothes period! I find her fashion sense (and sensibility) to be a breath of fresh air in an already stale room.

Seriously, you're posting on an US Weekly article about fashion....if you don't like what you read about what someone is wearing, why are you on US Weekly? I'm sure there is plenty of other online news you'd prefer over an entertainment-based website, so instead of commenting on the depravity of fashion news, go elsewhere. For the record, I find Kate, her fashion choices, and her earthliness utterly refreshing. I hope fame doesn't change her!

this article is utter baloney. mind you people are starving and you all are worried about someone wearing a dress twice. no words can express the depth of your depravity.

It is not a sin to wear the same dress more than once.. it is a little sick to buy a dress wear it once and never be seen in it again.. not all of us have that kind of income. Kate is a down to earth sensible young women who is not going to play that game...Our country is hurting and to have actresses who act like they are above it all be photographed in a dress one time, that cost more than most people earn in a week or month in some cases is a disgrace.

We should applaud her for wearing the same dress more than once. Good for HER! US Magazine why do you have to always point this out, I am sure you wear an outfit more than once!

England has Kate and we have the kardashians, snookie, and all the disgusting housewives. Aren't we so proud that these are our role models? Kate is the epitome of classy, thoughtful (not to draw attention from the reason of her visit), and genuine. America should be so lucky.

  • July 30, 2011 - 12:07am Melissa Boyd

I really like Kate. She seems to be a very "real" person. She's not one of these popular personalities that tosses a piece of clothing out after she's "been seen in it by the press". She seems to have a very level head.

  • July 29, 2011 - 5:12pm Kelly Dawn

Same green dress she wore in LA. Clever choice from Kate so that not to upstage the bride.
