Rachel Weisz is famously tight-lipped about her yearlong marriage to Daniel Craig, but in the September issue of Marie Claire UK, the 42-year-old Bourne Legacy actress finally lets her guard down.

When asked if it was love at first sight with Craig, 44, the Oscar winner responds, "I'm going to change the subject. . . It wasn't really like that. We'd been friends for ages."

Weisz is less chilly when questioned about what it's like living with another movie star. "We don't sit around talking about acting, but you both understand you've got to be flexible," she says. "Every few months you start a new job."

While Weisz doesn't like the increased interest in her private life, the English star says it could be worse. "As far as downsides go, I don't think it's a big one. It's something we deal with together."

The Dream House costars secretly married in June 2011 in upstate New York; it was the first marriage for Weisz and the second for Craig. Weisz has a 6-year-old son, Henry, with her director ex-partner Darren Aronofsky.

In her Marie Claire UK interview, Weisz also opens up about the difficulties of balancing a career and motherhood. "Like any job, there are days when you're just pulling your hair out. The same as anyone who wants to be with their kid or husband. Every mother feels that don't they? Of course sometimes it's great to get away and feel, 'Hooray, I'm not changing nappies today.' I mean, I love my son, but it's not without conflict."
