Randy Quaid Arrested in Texas

Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, have been arrested in Texas for allegedly failing to pay a $10,000 hotel bill in upscale Santa Barbara, Calif., the Associated Press reports.
The couple is in custody in the town of Marfa in west Texas, Presidio County Sheriff's officials said Thursday.
The actor, 58, and his wife are being held on bail set at $20,000 bail each, according to the office's spokesperson, Drew Sugars. The felony warrant is for burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy. Sugars also said that detectives had not yet interviewed Quaid.

Quaid, who is the brother of actor Dennis Quaid, is a former Saturday Night Live cast member and best known for his roles in the National Lampoon Vacation movie franchise.

All "celebs" are in their own little world. they should stop talking about politics, and world affairs since they have no clue about what they are talking about!!Just shut-up, look pretty, and entertain people, don't act as if you have a concience, or actually give a shit about people cause' you don't. try worrying about whether you will use what little money you have to pay for food, or electricity.. then you can talk....

where did this guy&his wife stay to run up a tap that big #1, and also as a celebrity who like so many other "Hollywood" types are looney leftists, and so out of touch with "the real world" that they probably thought the hotel owed it to them to stay for free. the publisity, etc... what a tool though, you can't tell me he doesn't have any money, those National Lampoon movies alone should have made him plenty of cash!! Plus he was in the movie "Armeggedon" and I believe that other movie with Will Smith, Bill Pullman; Independant Day!! so he's got to have sum scratch stashed away... pay up cheapskate!!
How disappointing. It's too bad he is playing the pity party saying he has not gotten acting jobs and playing the pity party. He had to make alot of money playing cousin Eddie and it's his own fault if he spent it all. Get a life.
I always liked Randy as an actor, but he and his wife have been bullying people for years now. I got the impression the part he played in Brokeback Mountain wasn't an acting job, it was his real personality.
