Rep: Ian Somerhalder Never Proposed to Nina Dobrev!

Despite rumors to the contrary, Ian Somerhalder never asked Nina Dobrev for her hand in marriage.
"There's a crazy story that started in the British tabloids that Ian proposed to Nina," a source tells Us Weekly. The report claims that Dobrev, 23, "turned him down and that's causing friction in their relationship."

"It's totally not true!" the source says. "There was no proposal at all."
Indeed, a rep for Dobrev tells Us: "There is no truth to this item at all. There was no proposal."

While Dobrev may not be headed down the aisle with Somerhalder, 33, she's still madly in love with her Vampire Diaries costar.
