Happy Movember? Looks like Robert Pattinson is the latest celebrity to (somewhat) join the no-shave November movement.

The hunky star, looking happier than ever, debuted his brand new goatee at the 6th annual GO GO Gala on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013 in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Pattinson has sported a variety of facial hair styles over the last year -- from clean shaven to fully-bearded and now goatee'd. He joins celebrities like Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom, who have previously gone the goatee route.

An insider tells Us Weekly that Kristen Stewart's ex, 27, "looked professional and put together" at the event. "He wore a slick navy blue suit and had goatee, his hair was short and kind of buzzed on the side."

The Twilight hunk, who showed up to the event with his agent and manager in tow, "definitely didn't bring a date or come with anybody," the source adds. (The Hollywood heartthrob has quietly been dating model Dylan Penn, Sean Penn and Robin Wright's daughter, since September.) "Rob actually seemed like he was in a great mood, relaxed even."

Pattinson's work with the GO Campaign -- which raises funds and awareness for orphans and vulnerable children -- for the last two years probably gave the star incentive to celebrate and enjoy the evening: Two years ago, he offered a meet-and-greet on the set of one of the Twilight saga films; a happy bidder scooped up the celebrity encounter for $85,000, and the proceeds went toward a home school for girls in Cambodia.

At one point during Thursday night's gala, Scott Fifer, Executive Director of the GO Campaign, gave a toast to Pattinson and said, "There are twenty five thousand girls in Cambodia right now who wanted me to say thank you very much."

The observer tells Us, "It was very sweet and everybody applauded for Rob. He nodded his head in appreciation but looked a little uncomfortable getting that attention, since he was so hunched over himself by the end of the applause."
